Most common here are cod, pollack, haddock, halibut, salmon and tusk but it is not uncommon to get monkfish, ling and mackerel. If this is you first visit to North Norway, it would be beneficial to hire a guide on the first day to show you the fishing spots and get advice on fishing gear and fishing methods.
Self-drive boats are available to hire:
Uttern A56 with 40 hp outboard motor, GPS and Echosounder
Aluminium Kværnø 590, 5.75m in length, with 50 hp outboard motor, GPS and Echosounder.
Skippered boat fishing can also be arranged.
There is small shop on-site for your fishing needs, which also rents out fishing equipment.
