Fly fishing SloveniaAll our holidays are tailormade.  Here, we have prepared a 7-day package (5 fishing days), which can be amended to suit your requirements. It offers a round trip with fishing every day on a different river starting with the less challenging Sava with its tributaries (Radovna, Bistica, Kokra) that runs near lake Bled. 

And when you get used to techniques, we change location to the more demanding Soca with its tributaries and will be based in the charming town of Kobarid. Making this a nice circular trip to minimise morning drives and maximise fishing opportunities.

FISHING IN SLOVENIA
Slovenia’s waters and aquatic life are a paradise for anglers. In rivers, lakes and ponds of varying greenish tinges there live numerous species of freshwater fish, of which over 20 are of interest to anglers. The majority can be fished for and caught with artificial flies. But your hunt might have to be restrained slightly, as Slovenia promotes catch and release.
 
THE GORISKA REGION
BOVEC
The small town of Bovec lies at the heart of of the Triglav National Park, in the valley of the emerald River Soča, beneath the tower peaks of the Julian Alps. Bovec destination is a true paradise for all who love activity holidays and is a world famous centre for fishing, white-water rafting, mountain climbing and skiing. This area was chosen by Disney as the location for the second installment of The Chronicles of Narnia. IDRIJA AND CERKNO
The crystal-clear Idrijca River with its numerous tributaries offers an ideal natural habitat for fish, which is why the Idrija and Cerkno region boasts a long, rich fishing tradition. Fishing in Idrija’s waters offers visitors a genuine experience in unspoilt natural surroundings, a healthy way of spending their leisure time, an ideal holiday and relaxation.
KOBARID
Kobarid is a small and amiable little town, which is situated at the historic crossroads of important routes running through Posočje (Soča Valley) towards Furlanija (Friuli). Like the other places along the Soča Valley, this too boasts an exceptional natural heritage and a broad range of possibilities for enjoying an active holiday: fly fishing rafting, kayaking, hydrospeed, mountain biking, paragliding, hiking and hill walking.
