Cruising & Fishing the Rivers of Southern Ireland
Cruising in style with Kings Angling Holidays!

Fancy a great fishing holiday where you can cruise the River Shannon to find your ideal swims? We have chosen three cruiser companies to suit your needs as a holidaymaker and dedicated angler. Living on the water allows access to swims unreachable by land-based anglers. These cruisers can all be provided with a dinghy, enabling anglers to fish in the reeds.

SILVERLINE CRUISERSSilver Line Cruisers, one of Ireland longest established family run Shannon cruising companies, is situated right in the heart of Ireland on the river Shannon between the two great lakes, Lough Ree and Lough Derg.

Their diesel-powered craft are equipped to the highest possible standard to meet the requirements of Bord Failte, the Irish Tourist Board. With a modern fleet of luxury river cruisers we offer you the opportunity of a holiday experience that will stir the soul and capture the imagination of the most adventurous spirit.

Noble Cadet from Manor House Marine Boat YardThis cruiser company operates out of Killadeas, on Lough Erne. We have chosen the ‘Cadet’ for fishing. It is an ideal craft for 2 persons, although there are conversion possibilities to 2 X 2 berths.

The aft well provides a perfect fishing platform as well as being safe for children. The boat has 1 bathroom, with WC, washbasin and shower. Central heating or gas heating is fitted.

CARRICKCRAFT CRUISERSTThese craft can be operated from Tully Bay, on the River Erne, and from Carrick-on-Shannon or Banagher on the River Shannon.

The ’Clare’ class cruiser makes a perfect boat for anglers, with its afterdeck and capacity to provide 1 double cabin, a twin cabin and 1 bunked cabin. For those wishing to self-cater, there is a well-designed and fully-fitted galley. Alternatively, there are so many pubs and restaurants along the banks of this mighty river.
